I'm posting a little video today instead of a photo. It's quite old, from my high school days, and was taken with my cell phone, so the quality is rather bad, but it's such a cute video.

1. Really busy day at work today, so the time went by quickly. (I hope tomorrow's not as busy, though, because we're going to be very short-handed.)

2. I made some delicious stir-fry for dinner and now have lots of yummy leftovers to take for lunch.

In my last post here, it turned out that some of you guys like My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. So I thought I'd mention that I have written a ponified Chapter 2 for a Foal-Sitters Club fanfic I'm working on.

If you want to check it out, it's at my journal. I'm open to any suggestions, and I'm happy to consider this a shared world if anyone else wants to write crossover fanfic!

If you do use this version of the Ponybrook universe, please let other writers use whatever you ponify. (So if you make up pony name for Logan, let me and other writers use the same name.)

1. Bluh. I really don't like working mornings. I mean, I do because the time seems to pass faster, but I'm always so tired. Thankfully I was able to come home and take a nap afterwards, though, and at least tomorrow and Sunday I work in the afternoon.

2. Even though most of my day was taken up by work and napping, I did get some stuff done tonight! I posted a new chapter of A Child's Child, which means yet another goal for this month has been met.

1. Did everything on my to-do list LIKE A BOSS.

2. A few days ago Irene noted that I sounded super quiet on Facetime and she could barely hear me. We assumed it was a bad connection or something, but tonight I randomly decided to play with the voice posts thingy and that was super quiet, too, so I was like ughhhhhh fuck is something wrong with my ipod??? Even though I bought it less than a year ago (though it's probably almost a year now, because it was an early birthday present), it was refurbished and not through Apple, so it didn't have a full year warranty, so if I have to take it to get fixed, it's not free. Bluh. Plus I don't want to waste time going to the Apple Store.

So I googled and after a lot of results that were not at all what I was looking for, finally found a thread that sounded similar and people suggested cleaning out the microphone hole with a toothbrush bristle or the round end of a needle. I tried poking at it with a toothbrush, but that did nothing, so I tried a needle and that got out quite a bit of stuff. I realised that the microphone hole is actually supposed to be quite a bit deeper than it was. Apparently it was filled almost to level with pocket grit. >_< Oops. So now it's better. I tested it with the voice memo.

3. I've gotten a lot accomplished and am tiredish, so hopefully if I go to bed now I can get to sleep without too much trouble. (I have work in the morning.) If not, I can always come home and nap afterwards.

4. I had a super delicious snack today! edamame cheese flavor Jagariko. *_* (Jagariko is a type of stick-shaped potato snack. Sort of like shoestring potatoes, but thicker than that.) Even on sale it's $1.98 for a tiny pack, though, so I probably won't be buying too many, but omg so good. SO GOOD. *_*

My girlfriend and I are skyping and somehow the idea of a BSC/The Craft crossover came up. Or anything similar, really. (It started with her talking about young dumb witches putting spells on teachers and I imagined Stacey putting a LUV spell on Wes and it went from there).

Think about it, though. Am I the only one who thinks it has potential?

Dawn would be one of those annoying chicks who's in it for the earth-friendly and feminist stuff but thinks anything about actual spells and stuff is a demeaning stereotype against witches.

Stacey, well, we just described the kind of shit she would get up to.

Claudia's ritual supplies would be handmade in crazy colors, and for any other witch, that Bedazzled athame handle would look ridiculous, but Claudia would make it look cool.

Kristy would demand to be Head Witch in Charge and be constantly organizing holiday rituals for all the kids in the neighborhood.

Jessi would only acknowledge the African gods.

I'm not sure how Mary Anne would fit in with this, but I suspect a lot of crying would be involved. And the number of ways Mallory could be made to look like a complete assclown is ENDLESS.


No real point to this post, but I can't get the image out of my head and, well, who else could I possibly say this to and expect them to understand?
